I have written fiction for over a decade and am just starting to publish some of my writing. My main genres include: Contemporary Adult Romance and Young Adult books. But, surprise! I have also published an academic, parenting book under my professional name and credentials.

They say you are supposed to write what you know. Well, I actually am a social worker, so Annalise was an easy character for me to bring to life. However, she wasn’t nearly the first damsel in distress I’ve written, nor will she be the last. My first several books, (currently unpublished, but I’m considering adding them to my bookshelf) involved high school and college romances. Some of the common tropes they hit are: age gap, forbidden/taboo romance, and a couple of my characters are attacked to varying degrees, so there will be trigger warnings if I do decide to publish any of those.

I’ve written for myself for years because I love writing and figuring out where their story goes…I never know when I start a book! Now that I’m starting to share my work, I hope you enjoy reading my characters and love stories as much as I enjoy bringing them to life. If not, keep that to yourself- no one needs that kind of negativity! LOL!
